Co-Curricular Activities
To bring out the inherent abilities of the students in different areas, the following clubs are functioning with the fullest co-operation of the students.

The clubs are named after the experts in the respective fields in order to give due respect to their contribution in their field. Various competitions such as elocution , verse, drama, quiz , essay are conducted under the auspices of the clubs. In addition to the above activities, tree planting under Nature club is carried out every year to make our campus green
Achievements
In 31 August 2024, a drawing competition was organized by the Indian Wildlife Foundation and Naatru Ilakkiya Amaippu to commemorate World Elephant Day. S. POORVAJA of Class 11 won first prize, T. LOGESWARI of XI secured second prize, and I. G. SIVA SREE of VIII received third prize.
During the Bharathi Day celebration at V. V. Vanniyaperumal College for Women, SOWJANYA of Grade 12 won the first prize in the Bharathiyar Songs Singing Competition.
The Virudhunagar District Book Fair hosted a series of competitions to promote reading and literary awareness from 27 September to 7 October 2024.
S. POORVAJA of XI secured 1st place at the Rajapalayam Block level and 3rd place at the District level. S. HARIVISHALINI of VIII won 2nd prize in the Book Review and Memory Competition at the Rajapalayam Block level.
In October, Our Class XI students embarked on a field visit to the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant, deepening their understanding of nuclear energy and gaining firsthand exposure to advancements in science and technology.
Tamil valarchithurai, Virudhunagar district conducted various competitions at Hajee P.Syed Mohamed Higher Secondary School, Virudhunagar.
M. VARSHINI & PON. S. S. THANYA SWATHI from XI attained the first prize in Essay competition & verse writing competition respectively.
In connection with the 137th birth anniversary of the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, V.V.V. College for Women, Virudhunagar, organized a series of competitions. R. KEERTHIVANI of Class II secured the first Prize in the Pencil Coloring competition.
M. HARI SHANKAR of Class II won the third Prize in the Oral Quiz event. V. R. SHREERAM of Class XI bagged the first Prize in the Mathematical Model Display competition.
Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, conducted various competitions at the district level. S. HARIVISHALINI of Grade 8 won second prize in Memory Competition. J. HARSHINI of Grade 5 secured the third prize in Music Competition. I.G. SIVASRI of Grade 8 earned third prize in Elocution.
M. MUTHUKARTHIKEYAN of Grade 9 bagged the third prize in Drawing Competition.
In November, Sekkizhar Mandram conducted various competitions. Our VIII – XI Students achieved the first prize in Drama. With a legacy of excellence, we have proudly stood as consistent achievers for the past 20 years, setting a benchmark in success through our outstanding performances in drama.
S. HARIVISHALINI of VIII & R. HARI PRIYA of IX won the second prize in Essay Competition. A. NAVYA of XI won the second prize in Dance competition. In Thevarapannisai competition, K. SOWJANYA of XII bagged the second prize in Singing competition. N. SREEJA of XI got the third prize in Elocution.
Thiruvalluvar Mandram conducted Singing & drawing competitions.
K. G. SHANVIKA from VIII won the second prize in Singing competition.
S. POORVAJA from XI got the third prize in Drawing competition.
In December, Akathiyar tamil sangam conducted Thiruppavai Music competition:

In January, Kamban Kazhagam conducted several competitions.

M. MITHRA PARAMESHWARI, S. GIRISHA & R. JAYASURYA team from IX bagged the second prize in Model presentation. R.GAUTAM from VII attained the third prize in Elocution.
S. SELVA VARZIKA of VII got the third prize in Essay competition.
P.R.THANISKSHAA of IX got the third prize in Drawing competition.
On 6thJanuary, our school students successfully built a telescope, which was officially inaugurated marking the beginning of their journey to explore the captivating wonders of the universe.
Grade 11 & 12 students went on science & technology tour for 3-days, visiting the B.M. Birla Planetarium to explore astronomy, ISRO Sriharikotta & CSIR Chennai. It was a fun and knowledge-packed journey.
48 students from our institution have enrolled in the International Certification Course on Space Education offered by the NASA Artemis Space Contact Program.
N. SAKTHIVEL - VII, V. VARSHITHA - IX, and B. SENBAGADEVI - X STD have been selected for the INSPIRE Awards – MANAK and have received a total cash award of `30,000 to bring their innovative projects to life. Each student has been awarded `10,000, empowering them to take their ideas to the next level.
At the Innovation Fest 2024–25, organized by NITI Aayog and LLF, our Students V. Surya and R. Kuthalinga Madhesh – VIII, made us proud by securing third place in the INNOVISION 2025 competition. We are excited to announce that their innovative projects have been selected for the prestigious Big Bang Grand Finale.
We are proud to announce that our students V. SURYA, R. KUTHALINGA MADHESH and R. GAUTAM won 1st place and received `1,000, while V. SURYA, R.K. ABISHEK & R. GAUTAM achieved 2nd place and received `800 in the Junior Ideathon.
Our school has been recognized as the ATL School of the Month for June 2024 & April 2025, and has proudly received the Exemplary Contribution Certificate, the Generation Green Appreciation Certificate, and the ATL Community Day Certificate.
We are glad to share that three of our student projects have been selected among the Top 1,000 in the School Innovation Marathon in National level schools.
Our management conducted a Career Guidance Program for XII students, featuring Dr. R. Karthikeyan, Associate Professor of Artificial Intelligence at Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai, as the Chief Guest. He enlightened the students to explore various career opportunities.
29 MARCH 2025: Tamil Literary Club – Valedictory Function
Our management hosted the Valedictory Function of the Tamil Literary Club, featuring Sahitya Akademi awardee Mr. Ayisha R. Natarajan as the Chief Guest.He addressed the students and shared valuable insights on the theme "SIRAGAI VIRIPPOM", encouraging them to think freely, express creatively, and aspire beyond boundaries.
He delivered an inspiring talk to the teachers on the topic "VAAGAI SOODUM VAGUPPARAIGAL”, offering thoughtful reflections on creating vibrant, meaningful, and inclusive learning environments.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS– 19.04.2025
Our management organized a Skill Development Workshop for teachers, with Mr. K. Saravanan, a renowned storyteller from Madurai, as the Chief Guest. He explained how stories can serve as a powerful tool to communicate ideas effectively.
