Management Commitee

The school is managed by a committee comprising members from various fields such as industrialists, executives, doctor, engineers, educationist.

My social responsibility prompted me to start this school. I wish our students should do something worthwhile to the society. I would like to remind our students what Tagore said – “ God has not lost his faith on human because God has not stopped the children coming to the world. ”

Likewise a persion poet, Khaleel Gibran said to the parents, “ Children are not your children ; they come through you. That’s all. They can grow better than you. So allow them to grow on their own.”

“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” - is a popular thought- provoking proverb. Teaching a person, a useful skill can be more beneficial in the long run than filling in a need temporarily. Giving a man the answer will provide him with a temporary solution. Teach him the principles that lead to the answer and he will be able to create his own solutions in the future.

We, at Ramana vidyalaya strongly believe in giving the children not just a formal academic education which is often just memorising answers but we give importance to teaching them how to get those answers. Thus we ensure that our children will make use of all the opportunities that come on their way.

Our educational goal is to make children create new ideas and build new skills that help in the long run. Our programs reflect the school’s strong emphasis on learning, self-discipline and responsibility. We strongly believe that the school’s climate will enable each student to experience personal success and grow into responsible and respected citizens in the society.

1. A direct effect of education is knowledge gain. Education gives us knowledge of the world around. It develops in us a perspective of looking at life. It helps us form opinions and develops an idea on our own. The information we are constantly bombarded with, cannot be converted into knowledge without the catalyst called education. Education makes us capable of interpreting things rightly and applying the gathered information in real-life scenarios. Education is not limited to lessons from textbooks. Real education is obtained from the lessons taught by life.

2. "Every single one of the children has something that it is good at. Every single one of them has something to offer. And the teachers have a responsibility to discover what that is and help them to develop. That's the opportunity an education can provide."

Sri RamanaVidyalaya, Montessori Matric. Higher Secondary School paves the way for fulfillingthese educational concepts.

All work and no play makes jack a dull boy ”. This does not mean that you should stop studying hard and play all the time. You have to have a perfect balance with all your activities and school days are the right days to enjoy and cultivate this habit.

All of you must to everything to the best of your ability and make maximum use of all opportunities given to you by the school

HOME - You learn to live, love and grow.

SCHOOL - You learn to live, love and grow.

HOME - You learn important values for life.

SCHOOL - You learn important values for life.

HOME - Teaches you all that is essential.

SCHOOL - Teaches you all that is essential.

From this I would like to point out that school is yet another home – HOME AWAY FROM HOME ; your second home.

What if you are a student in your own class?

As a teacher, have you ever wondered what would happen if you are a student in your own class? Well, that needs a lat of retrospect..... and you have to be true in your assessment. Imagine yourself as a student in your class. Do you like your teacher? Do you like his/her way of teaching? Do you understand what is taught in the class? Is the teacher ready to explain the concepts again? Does he/she get irritated? Is the teacher unbiased? DO you like what is taught? DO you llok forward to attend the class the next day?

If the answer is yes to all these questions above and you are happy to be a student in your class, you are a perfect teacher. But, if you feel intimidated or are not able to understand the concepts, it is time to think again.

Children come to school to learn and enhance their knowledge. A teacher or guru imparts this knowlwdge and kids look up to their teachers to enhance it..... day after day. After all a good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning.

Let us aim to instill the love of learning and go through this litmus test time and agian!
